"This hotel is AWESOME! It’s an architectural landmark! I could tell that the exterior looked old and the interior looked new- but I had no idea it was designed by Marcel Breuer (a famous architect). I then found out that the movie “The Brutalist” was based on his work. It’s one of only ten LEED certified platinum hotels in the US. They have a free shuttle (which was a beautiful electric Hyundai). They even had nice bicycles to borrow. I think it was worth paying another $20 to get a room with a water view. "

"We had requested a second floor room, but were given a first floor room. We asked at the front desk if we could change, and James was very helpful and accommodating. He was very kind and answered our questions. "

"Great location in New Haven and very walkable to a lot of great restaurants. There is a parking deck across the street for a fee with adjoining bridge on the second floor between the parking garage and the hotel. Friendly staff at the lobby and beautiful lobby. Space. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Very clean and quiet on the 5 th floor. "

"Everything was excellent in the hotel property. It was safe and our vehicle was safe the whole time with a parking facility below the building. The only complaint that I have is that the pillows are typical of the "My Pillow" in that when I laid my head on it, my head sunk and there was no support. So, if they could offer an alternative pillow, that would be great!"

"Easy check in and the room was very clean for the family. Breakfast was good."

"The hotel was beautiful but the staff really made it stand out. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, no request was ever too much and everything was done with a smile. I would definitely stay here again. 9/10! "
