"Highland Dell Lodge was an adorable stay: the staff was friendly, the guests all got along, and we felt like we'd arrived at a quaint little place as soon as we set foot in the lodge. My fiancé and I were celebrating our minimoon before our wedding day. We brought our border collie, and all three of us loved it. Growing up, spending time at an auntie's family home across the river; this place was the perfect little getaway. The room was a wee bit small, but it was perfect for what we needed. The food was delicious too! The river location was ideal for spending a day at the coast, as well as driving upriver to the state park and wineries. Thank you so much."

We checked in on a Wednesday and tried to get a room on the second floor but for some reason none were available and the hotel didn't seem that full. The ceilings are a little thin and we could definitely hear our heavy-footed upstairs neighbors on Thursday night and Friday morning. They did let us trade our gifted white wine for a red and our stay was otherwise pleasant,"

Super sweet and thoughtful after a long drive. The next morning the kind Russian speaking owner gave us another kind gesture that he did NOT have to do. Great energy in this place, beautiful views and the room was romantic, clean and functional. We’ll be back!"
