"We stayed at Bambooshay for 2 weeks in Feb/March 2026 and had the most amazing time. This homeIs perfect for a couple or a small family, or perhaps 2 couples, looking for a comfortable home, convenient to all that Coral Bay has to offer. We loved the convenience of one floor and the AC in the bedrooms, although we hardly used it as the home is perfectly situated to take advantage of cross island breezes. We also loved the book we found on the history of Bambooshay, and the story of the family’s rebuild after Irma. This home is perfection. The only feedback I have for the hosts would be to stock some foam type pillows for those of us that prefer a stiffer pillow. If that’s my only feedback, I think we’re doing pretty good. Amazing stay, thanks so much! "

"Amanda was so helpful, especially during an island power outage that lasted for many hours over approximately 2 ½ days. She supplied water, battery fans, and a large battery backup that enabled us to stay internet connected throughout. We’ve stayed here before: The property is very clean , well and comfortably furnished on the quiet side of the island. In short, don’t come here ‘cuz we want it all to ourselves!"

"Beautiful, clean, well-appointed house. Views were specular. Close to beaches (including the hidden gem beach Francis Bay). Also close to the casual, tasty Coral Bay restaurants. A note that likely won’t matter to most: The plunge pool is not heated. On the plus side the house location was a good 5 degrees cooler than the beaches. Perfect for sleeping with the windows open and eating on the covered dining patio. "

"The host contacted us after we landed and got our rental car. He directed us to a nearby grocery store to stock up, then met us to lead the way to the property. There, he shared details of the general area, the house, and pool. Very much appreciated, particularly because our flight was very late. "

"The hosts/managers were super helpful and accommodating. The unit is perfect. Fully stocked kitchen, cozy living area, two spacious guest suites downstairs, and of course an amazing outside deck with views of the bay and plenty of seating / lounging options. The pool is small but great for cooling down or staying refreshed. You do need a rental jeep to get around. "
