It was around noon when I got to the hotel and even though the room was ready I was going to have to pay 10 euro for every hour before the 3 o'clock check-in if I wanted the room. The bar didn't open until 5 so I went to the restaurant and had to sit in a select small area because it was lunch time and I guess getting a table dirty on the other side would have effected the symmetry of the room? At dinner a man ordered a steak but it came with potatoes, he asked to substitute them for green beans. The manager came out and said they are more concerned about the presentation of the dish so if he wasn't allergic to potatoes they won't substitute!

Laura at the front desk and Rosa at the dinning facility were amazing. The only drwa back the cook/chef in the AM May 12 preparing eggs and omellets was rude and a bad cook. Overeasy eggs and over medium eggs were cooked wrong. Overall the hotel is incredible nice. I will stay there again.

To be honest they need a bellman for luggage. Always keep a copy your reservation because they almost charged me 35 dollars more than what Expedia quoted..it did rectified..Other than that it was okay..

We stayed in this airport hotel overnight after a cruise and before flying home. Very nice and extremely comfortable rooms. Nice free shuttle to the airport.

We arrived really early from the States to check in at hotel but check in isn’t until 3 pm? The hotel staff went out of there way to help us get to our room asap.Young lady running the restaurant was equally helpful? We initially arrived to early to check in she allowed us access to restaurant for beverages and breakfast which was over the top. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Awesome experience in customer service and great hospitality. Highly recommend.

The room was a good size and modern throughout . A great size shower. Front of desk staff very helpful and the choice of breakfast was very good … especially the omelettes.

Stayed the night before flying out early morning the next day and the airport shuttle provided was very convenient and on time! The rooms were also very nice and had a large bathroom. Hope to stay here again!

In recent years I have had one-night stays at several hotels close to Schiphol, and this one is my favorite. My requirements have been quality accomodations, dining on site, and a good shuttle service to the airport. The Marriott Renaissance gets top marks in those three categories. My only complaint is minor, and to me, it was surprising. One of my anticipations under these circumstances is to finish a meal with an excellent local cheese. They had only one French variety to offer.

This hotel is not centrally located. You have to take a shuttle, which, thankfully, the hotel provides, to the train station and then a train to the Central city to have fun, so beware of that also there was mold in the shower. The property knew about it. The receptionist said they knew about it but basically they were too busy to fix it and they seem to have a mold problem because they know they had to take care of it but they just don’t have time to take care of it. It's pretty disgusting, unsanitary and hazardous.

Hotel with shuttle
We decided to stay near the airport in a hotel with a shuttle. It was convenient for us, although an early morning flight was pre-shuttle hours. Check-in was slow, but check-out was rapid. The restaurant is quite okay for an airport hotel. The room was well appointed and clean. The big disappointment was a shower black with mold. Both reception and management apologized for this, and offered to shift rooms, but for such a short stay we decided to stick it out.

check in was a nightmare, took 40mins with the q which is a shame as after this the stay was really nice Another annoyance is that the shuttle bus to the airport is every 20-25 mins so you have no clue if you need to wait 5mins or 25mins as the reception team do not keep tabs on what time the bus last left

Property was good. I would recommend to others when staying at the airport or business meetings. However Marriott Bonvoy points are not available when you book through Expedia, etc.

Calm before the storm!
We always spend our last night in Europe at an airport hotel to reduce stress & get a good night's sleep. It was lovely wandering the surrounding area with the horses/sheep/canals. Breakfast was delicious. Shuttle is only 15 minutes. Printer in room saved us so much time at AMS as our temp phone failed us and apps were unusable. Lovely staff at all levels, and we were able to relax and prepare for the absolute slog of international flight the next day.

I want to start by showing recognition to Paula who was the hostess with the mostest at the restaurant. She was incredibly warm, welcoming and professional. It was a very busy night due to many canceled and delayed flights which obviously led to a lot of last minute bookings, and she was the epitome of grace and poise the entire time! Also Jose, the following day at the restaurant for lunch deserves a shout out as well. Very kind and friendly! The property over all was excellent! Clean and spacious, dinner was great, lunch was great. The only small issue I had was with the young lady at the front desk checking us in, she had a slight attitude and seemed very annoyed that I existed lol but she may have just been tired. Highly recommend this place!

Really bad service and staff didn’t care a hoot. Told different info from each person dismissed our complaints would not recommend it even though the hotel was very new clean and wonderful the service was v bad
