"Room was OK but did pay for a premium room so you would expect better than OK. Bed very comfortable and plenty of space, but..TV didn’t work properly, and despite 3 requests and 3 different staff coming to look it remained faulty for the entire 3 nights, rebooted itself every 5 mins! The save malfunctioned halfway through our stay, wouldn’t lock and tbh we couldn’t be bothered to report it after the TV fiasco! Absolutely no storage for anything that couldn’t be hung in a wardrobe so underwear, socks, t shirts, and miscellaneous stuff had nowhere to go. Who designs these rooms? Staff were all nice / friendly /helpfull. Breakfast choice and quality 1st class. We used Restaurant and bar on 1st night. Very limited menu, very small portions and staff didn’t seem to know we had reserved a table, forgot to make our cocktails and also forgot one of the food items ordered. Overall a bit chaotic.."

"The initial check in staff was unfriendly. The walls were extremely thin. The room was clean. The bartender was very nice and had great tourist recommendations. Breakfast was fine. Worth it if you’re just trying to grab something quickly. The highlight was the resident cat Mickey. The stairs situation is crazy. Extremely difficult to get from floor to floor. "

"Check in was very efficient - we were early but it was easy to store luggage( and at the end of our stay!) The hotel and public areas were very clean and well presented .Our room had a balcony and overlooked the fountains outside- even though there were many trams outside they couldn’t be heard through the doors.Bed and facilities were very good .Our stay was very good and the position of the hotel was excellent! "Great location for everything Amsterdam. The staff were all 1000% knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond. Both gentleman concierges went well beyond the expected scope of their roles by being willing to not only recommend Dutch bakeries where ai might acquire a simple birthday cake, but also offer to source it for me while we were out enjoying the city. In the end, their recommended bakery nearby was PHENOMENAL and made the perfect impression for the recipient."

"Great value for the price--nothing fancy, but clean and well maintained. The location is great for those who want a central spot in Amsterdam. No included breakfast or coffee/tea, but we didn't have a problem going nearby to find it. "
