Carlton Hotel Singapore
10/10 Excellent
"The Carlton Hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Singapore. The rooms are clean and well designed, the beds are comfortable, and the hotel looks and smells nice. It is located in a convenient area with good access to buses and MRT lines. There are several malls nearby with good food and shopping options. I would certainly choose to stay there again. "
"The Pan Pacific marina square is a beautiful hotel, well located a few minutes from Promenade Metro and a short 15 min walk across the bridge to the Marina Bay Sands complex.
The lounge on the top floor is worth the extra, with an excellent array of food and drinks from 6pm to 8pm, as well as breakfast and lunch/afternoon tea.
As with much of Singapore, if you prefer to stay indoor and out of the heat there are thousands of shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes.
Having stayed many times at the excellent Oriental and Ritz Carlton (two other prominent Marina Square/Millenia Walk hotels), we find the PP better value and just as good these days.

"We loved our stay at the Dao by Dorsett in Singapore. We were upgraded on arrival and our room was lovely. Staff at the hotel were extremely helpful. There was a lovely pool area and the restaurant was excellent. A little bit away from the city centre but easily navigated by MRT and grabs. Plenty of restaurants surrounding. Thanks for making our first stay in Singapore so memorable. "
