"When I asked some Italian friends about the most beautiful lake in Italy, they all mentioned "il Lago d'Orta". We decided to spend a week near the lake and were not disappointed. We liked the ancient villages of Orta San Giulo and Pella, the hikes around Ameno and the stunning views from the top of the Mottarone mountain, as well as the restaurants with great food. "Well-equipped house on a quiet location. The house is spacious and has all the comfort you need, kitchen is well equiped, enough outdoor gear to enjoy the pool. Only downside is that all bathrooms are rather small and the bathroom on the ground floor has a very outdated shower (in a bath tub) .The other two bathrooms have a new shower installed which are perfectly ok.
