When is the best time to go to Amazonas?

The best time to visit Amazonas is during the dry season, which runs from June to November, offering more comfortable conditions for exploration. During these months, the river levels are lower, making it easier to explore the jungle on foot and access more areas. You'll find it's also a more pleasant time for wildlife spotting, as animals tend to gather closer to the receding water sources. The weather is generally less humid, with clearer skies. Couples looking for a more adventurous and active trip will find this period ideal for activities like jungle trekking, piranha fishing, and visiting local communities. The lower water levels mean more trails are accessible, and boat excursions are still plentiful, offering a different perspective of the forest. For those interested in seeing the 'Meeting of the Waters' – where the Rio Negro and Solimões rivers converge – the dry season provides a clear view of this natural phenomenon.

Hotel Bomtempo Itaipava

10/10 Excellent

"Tudo perfeito. Funcionários nota 1000,apenas um problema. Minha mãe tem 81 anos e eu 60,o box do banheiro super ultra escorregadio. Precisa trocar o piso de dentro do box."

Plage Hotel

8/10 Good

"Hotel bem localizado em frente a praia e no ponto final do ônibus. Muito barulho dos ônibus no quarto 214. Pedi para me mudarem para o andar de baixo quarto 101. Havia barulho do quiosque em frente. Mas era menos pior que o barulho dos ônibus. O hotel estava lotado por causa do Rock in Rio. Tem um restaurante que finciona 24 horas. Comida boa. O café da manhã é bem comum."

Hotel Solar do Império

8/10 Good

"It’s a beautiful historic property! The architecture, furnishings, murals and grounds are stunning. The location is excellent for walk ability to conveniences and points of interest. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The food was mostly excellent. I loved using the saunas and hot pool. The only negative is that, as an older building in a damp climate, there was some mustiness"
