Very friendly staff and lovely clean hotel and gardens.
Pool was very nice also and plenty of spare loungers.

"Beautiful stay, all the amenities as expected, didn't feel let down by anything. Would highly recommend.
Check in is super chill, right next to the bus stop and tram station relieving a lot of stress from travel if you are relying on transport.
The hotel is in the perfect place between old town and the beach making exploration in Altea a joy, want to go to the beach and restaurants? Leave the door take a single road. Want to visit Alteas wonderful Old town? Leave the door, turn left, and take the climb, perfection."

"Really nice hotel. Has the ‘solid marble feel’ of a high end hotel. That said I almost gave it a 4 star as the location isn’t great, the beach is just stones, and the hotel can seem almost empty. The spa is amazing but the gym could be improved and larger. Food was very good. "

"Absolutely suited my wife and myself, having breakfast i.e. cereal, on the terrace! Beautiful view from terrace! Convenient to walk to old town but many steps, might not suit everybody, with fantastic restaurants like Casa Vital and The Indian Elephant. Good base with bus and tram to see local area! Host Pepe very helpful!"

"The Altea Sol apartment at Cap Negret is a perfect quiet location. You have facilities at the hotel to use which is very close plus a very good supermarket and bar in walking distance.Although there isn’t a balcony you are over looking the sea and practically on the beach.To walk into Altea takes 20 minutes."
