2nd visit here got the same apartment- stayed with my husband and teenage son in a superior one bedroom. Lots of room for everyone and 2 bathrooms. Our favourite resort is Alvor and the apartments are so central. Staff lovely as always 😎

I have stayed at the Alvor Park many times and it would always be my first choice. It is clean well maintained, the rooms are lovely. It is close to town and the beach. Perfect.

Lovely hotel and room with great staff. Very clean hotel and room. Good amenities but could be improved by an iron in each room and there were some minor maintenance issues in the fridge being difficult to shut properly and the shower head wouldn't stay up high. Improvements could also be made at the bar / restaurant around the pool as they never felt very welcoming which meant we went to our friends' hotel instead to use their pool and pool bar / restaurant. Hotel is in a good location, close to the centre and the beach.

Great experience from start to finish, staff were great and the hotel was lovely pool great and in a great location. Only minor issue for us were the beds were really hard and uncomfortable so you would wake up early but that was my only issue and we will be returning asap!

Had a lovely time at this hotel , the only complaint I had was the resident cat !!! Although I am an animal lover I didn't like the supposedly "white" cat that loved to sleep in the seated area at reception . It was a Nasty and unpredictable cat and although I knew not to go near it but children might not be so knowledgeable . Reception staff are always friendly and helpful .

Quite close to town but not so close to the beach.
We have been going to Alvor regularly over last 12 years and usually stay at Alvor Praia, another Pestana hotel. First time in Alvor Park and we will chose it every time we go back.

Small friendly hotel
Nice quiet location only 5 minutes walk from beach and town centre. Food in restaurant is excellent but menu is not extensive. Very comfortable modern hotel with great facilities and friendly staff.

A very good base to explore Alvor and beyond
We had such a good stay here in this less built up area of the Algarve. Less is more, more space, more beach, more time to wander the streets, walk the board walk to the end, more ice cream shops, more local fishermen working in restaurants serving today's catch. A perfect family holiday! The hotel has everything you need, indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym table tennis and pool table. The breakfast is good, the evening 3 steaks for 2 people perfect. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well set out, the kitchen had everything you needed for breakfast and simple suppers. Only a short easy walk to town, space to park, ability to use the facilities of other Pestana hotels in the town (Crazy golf, pitch and putt) made for an easy stay. Days out to Sagres , Silves, Zoo Marine and the famous stacks and arches on Lagos beach all within 35 minutes, 45 to the airport by the motorway made the best of the Algarve accessible to us

Very pleasant stay and would go again.
Very pleasant stay and definitely would go again. Hotel staff were very helpful. Easy walking distance to the town with lots of Bars and Resturants.

Lovely rooms
Lovely, modern, clean hotel. Surrounded by beautiful well tended gardens. Double balcony in one bed apartments, 2 sun beds, table and chairs, all seem to get sun. It's about a ten minute walk down a hill into the main town.

Thoroughly recommend
This is a spotless hotel with excellent facilities and friendly staff. It is a short walk from Alvor and or the beach. Our only gripe was that we couldn't find it for a good half hour because there were no signs, but the receptionist in a sister hotel drew us a map.

We booked a studio but landed up with a hotel room, no dining table, no couch, we had to watch TV. sitting on the bed, this "studio" was nothing like the studios we have had at this hotel before.
