The best time to visit Alaitza is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the region is less crowded.

Late spring offers comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 22°C, making it ideal for exploring the rolling hills and vineyards of the Basque Country. It's also a wonderful time to experience the local culture before the peak summer rush, allowing for a more relaxed pace when visiting the nearby medieval towns and enjoying outdoor activities like hiking or cycling.

Early autumn, from September to October, brings equally agreeable weather, with temperatures generally between 18°C and 25°C. This period is particularly appealing for those interested in gastronomy, as it coincides with the harvest season, offering opportunities to taste fresh local produce and wines.
