"Fantastiskt rum och härlig balkong med kvällssol. Snygg interiör och färgval. Fin personal, bra frukost. Vi hade en fin vistelse och det är ett fint hotell men vi tyckte det saknades lite ”feeling”, hotellet kändes överlag mörkt och tyst trots att det bodde mycket människor där. Hade varit trevligt med lite musik på eftermiddagen/ kvällen som gav stället lite mer energi, tror det även hade lockat dit fler folk. "

"Hotel was welcoming, stylish and located a couple of minutes from the best side of the beach. The rooms are a little smaller than they appear on the photos but spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped. The atmosphere and cocktails were great, & breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and could not do enough to help - particular thanks to Imash for his help and advice."

Their personal attention and genuine care made all the difference. The property itself is beautiful, with a charming boutique feel, lovely spaces to relax, and excellent food throughout the stay. Every detail reflected thoughtful hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction. An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. "I had a really lovely stay at Ocean Bliss by Sugar Co-living in Weligama. The property has a beautiful beachfront atmosphere with a calm, boho-style design that feels very different from a normal hotel. The rooms are clean, cozy, and nicely designed, with a relaxed coastal feeling. The best part is the location. It is close to the ocean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing, working remotely, or enjoying a slow beach holiday. The Wi-Fi was good, and the shared spaces made it easy to feel comfortable during the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience felt personal rather than commercial. It is a great place for couples, solo travelers, digital nomads, and anyone looking for a calm stay near Weligama beach. I would definitely recommend Ocean Bliss for guests who want a stylish, peaceful, and beachside stay in Sri Lanka."

"Beautiful location surrounded by stunning nature, with amazing rooms and a breakfast of a very high standard. However, the grounds and overall maintenance do not reflect the level expected from a Relais & Châteaux or Michelin Key property. There were dry leaves and weeds throughout the territory, and several trees appeared infested or dying. For such a large estate, there should clearly be more gardeners and stronger attention to maintenance and cleanliness. The lunch and dinner offerings were also disappointing considering the prices charged. At this level, the quality should match the cost. In particular, dishes prepared with raw tuna were served with the fish appearing brown rather than bright red or pink. As a cook myself, I know this indicates oxidation and a lack of freshness. I was also surprised that the concierge sent me an unsolicited bill via WhatsApp the night before checkout while I was still relaxing and my departure was only the following morning. At high-end properties, the guest experience is usually handled in a far more seamless and discreet manner. I have stayed at several Relais & Châteaux hotels before, and unfortunately this was among the weakest experiences in terms of service and guest handling. I would recommend taking inspiration from the Constance hotel group, particularly Prince Maurice, which understands luxury hospitality and guest relations at a much higher standard."
