Cheap and close to Glenelg.

Cheap and close stay to the restaurants in Glenelg. It’s honest accommodation so don’t judge it too harshly.

This place well and truly exceeded my expectations. It’s clean, extremely well located and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and always easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot for shopping eating beach etc. the main area of the room was very good I.e. clean, spaceious amenities including sink, cutlery, microwave etc. only area that needs a good scrub or upgrade is the bathroom.

No front desk or staff at property so no mechanism to checkin aside from dodgy looking link outside hotels.com with extra fee at 4%, which doesn't align with the ACCC. Despite checkin being at 2pm, I was sent details on how to access room at 5pm.The carparking is essentially on street, not covered. Rooms are accessible directly to street. No conditioner provided. Went to use a mug and the first 3 I pulled out of the cupboard were dirty.

Unfortunately the freezer on the fridge had no lid on it so all our food froze and had to throw out. The TV sound couldn’t go up or down and was too loud to keep on. Noisy boys in both units next to us came home at 3.30am in morning and the walls are so thin we heard every swearing word.

Convenient

Clean and convenient to city centre for Coles or to beach. Only one difficulty for me is with wheelchair that I need to go up on 1/ F by stair case. Overall is good to stay with families.

We expected an older style unit in need of a facelift. We didn’t expect a unit that was in a state of disrepair! NOT CLEAN. Bathroom ceiling had huge patch of paint/plaster coming away with what looked like mould. The vanity had a drawer taped together with packing tape and there were holes in the wall where I assume there was once a towel rail. Wall lights above both beds didn’t work. Huge amount of light comes into the bedroom from outside security lights despite the blinds. Unit 22 is only carpark not marked so you get to play guess where to park. We contacted the property with our concerns before leaving this review.

After 4 attempts I eventually found a clean coffee mug. The sliding door to bathroom/toilet does not completely close so it's a bit embarrassing if anybody is in the kitchen opposite. I'm sure these issues can be followed up as it's a great unit with easy access to all that Glenelg has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Generally a nice apartment and stay. Downsides -queen bed was SO firm it was difficult to sleep, there was a lot of “people” noise from a close apartment during the middle of the night on several nights and we had problems every time we left the apartment to lock the door which was SUPER annoying.

Just a couple of things that would not be difficult to put right namely: Blinds in bed room and lounge both needed attention Wall lights were inoperative in lounge and bedroom Tie cords on electric blanket were untied An information sheet for the microwave would have been useful.
