"To start with, the staff was very helpful. Our room had a pungent smell and after realizing the issue they were to change the rooms. The location was ideal for us as is in close proximity to tram station and blue mosque / Hagia Sofia. The breakfast had lots of good options. "

"After a long travel day, we were lucky enough to meet the supervisor, Hatice, at the front desk after we checked in. She was extremely welcoming and helpful with any of our requests. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, the spa was immaculate and the service was just outstanding! We are frequent guests of Sofitel in Dubai and San Francisco, so experiencing the wonderful service, especially by Hatice, has made us excited to come back in a few months!"

"Comfortable hotel"

"This was one of the best stays we’ve had in Istanbul. Never having stayed in Taksim Sq and with a car, we appreciated the valet parking and relatively very easy access off the highway. The location is great to be able to walk and take public transport to most of the great sights. We were upgraded to a large suite and everything from the bedroom, walking closet and large bathroom were superb. The welcome note, fast check in, and snacks in room, with discrete and efficient service were wonderful. Staff were uniformly friendly especially our the guest attendant who took us to our room, welcomed us to the city and showed us the room. It was really a nice welcome in a city and country where hospitality is already very strong. Superb breakfast buffet and service. Finally, the view from the hotel over the city and Bosporus was wonderful. Watch the narrow lanes around the hotel if you’re driving, many dead ends, one ways. Not easy or practical for self parking."
