Hotel is nice but could be better in many ways!
The positives is the food and most of the staff. Food is fairly quickly served and generally tasty. Staff, especially security, are friendly, helpful and doing their best!
Negatives are the noise, reception staff and wi-fi! Was in the annex of the hotel which has an atrium running from the ground up through all the floors. Noise from the ground floor, including staff moving the furniture at 1am, can be heard echoing over the whole building which keeps you awake! Reception staff are fantastically efficient machines....in their own eyes! Truth is they are incredibly obstructive, rude and totally without customer service skills. Booked an executive room yet when given a royale room (several categories below what paid for) they argued, lied and became very truculent in dealing with it! It was a Blessing (!!!) when a manager interjected and sorted this out!
Wi-fi was so slow I got a dongle to use my own internet! Should need to do this but their internet took 5 minutes to load!!
All in the place needs to improve but is ok if you get a low enough rate!!!!
