"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "Difficult entry as email came after we had left on our journey. Wouldn't use oven, needs a steam clean. Too minimalistic for us..no curtains, no pictures, no mirror in bedroom.. To use with hair dryer. Breakfast poor compared to other places we have stayed in. Milk was frozen in fridge. Broken tiles and mildew in bathroom."
