"Hotel certainly fine, but our room (128) was terribly placed for being woken at 6am by pounding techno music and someone screaming over a PA system to motivate a gym class …. Had an early morning appointment in the vicinity and only stayed in hotel so I could get a long lie instead of waking up at 6am at home …. If you like sleeping at 6am you’d be advised to ask to stay on a higher floor or the other end… no idea where the sound was coming from but once it woke us up it was too annoying to get back to sleep! "

"The receptionist was far from welcoming - very matter of fact. I enquired to see if there was any cancellation with a dog friendly room - shrugged her shoulders and that was a no - not even I am sorry. Bar staff where we could take a dog was over the top - as we walked in announced to whole bar we were walking in - there was a very loud child approx 9 yrs old who he was encouraging to be even louder - we moved table. We have stayed here a few times but will not be back."

"What should have been a special, long-overdue break turned into a complete disaster. My wife and I were evacuated in the middle of the night due to a gas leak—a genuinely frightening experience. We were abruptly forced out of the hotel with no proper reassurance or handling of the situation, which alone is unacceptable. We were offered “alternative accommodation,” but it did not have the same facilities or standard as what we had paid for. Given the circumstances and the time of night, we chose to make our own way home instead. This was our first time away since having our son, and the trip was completely ruined. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused any refund or compensation, despite the stay being cut short due to a serious safety issue entirely outside of our control. That response speaks volumes about how they treat their guests when something goes wrong. Safety concerns, a ruined stay, and zero accountability. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value basic duty of care and customer service."
