Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife

10/10 Excellent

"Highly recommend this resort for South Tenerife! While it’s not right in the middle of the main resort areas, my boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay. There’s so much to do right on the property that we never felt like we were missing out. Everything was clean, and our room was a great size with a lovely partial ocean view. We rented a car and always found convenient parking near the main entrance. The resort felt very safe to walk around at night, and staff were always present. The breakfast buffet offered tons of options and was consistently good. The staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful throughout our stay. We went with the all-inclusive package and really appreciated the free meals and drinks at their other restaurants. Hard Rock never disappoints — we’d definitely recommend it and would return!"

"Amazing all around. Really nice staff, hospitality was 10/10. It was clean everywhere: pools, beach, gym, elevators, stairwells, just everything was SPOTLESS. That’s a very big deal for me. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is the food at the restaurants wasn’t outstanding for the price, especially compared to what’s available outside the resort. I spent $60 on lunch at El Mirador and all I got was a ceviche, one glass of wine, some bread and water. The ceviche was nothing to write home about. I tried dinner too, spent about $90, and again nothing I’ll be thinking about again. I’m not surprised by the prices themselves, I was more surprised the food didn’t leave a lasting impression. On average I spent €20-€30 eating outside the resort and the food was just as good, if not better. So I’d recommend leaving the hotel for food. Otherwise my stay was perfect and I’m looking forward to staying here again."

"Sven, the host was excellent with his communication. Very quick to respond and helpful.The site team however were slightly chaotic to deal with and we were left waiting outside in the heat with elderly relatives and young children for 20 minutes on arrival, despite them knowing when we were due. I was then accused by the site manager of not replying to his messages, that he'd sent me after we landed and I had no mobile signal. It was fine, but not that helpful.The property is spacious, set on a quiet road with a lovely warm swimming pool and plenty of amenities in the house. There are various locked doors in the house and we were told categorically not to try and go through them, which was a bit odd. Whilst the house is nice, it is absolutely not suitable for those with mobility issues and you couldn't get on to the property in a wheelchair etc doe to the various steps/levels.The air conditioning in each room works for 2 hours a time then returns off.You can walk to a selection of shops and restaurants in about 5 minutes and the beach is about 15 minutes walk (though it is not maintained, no toilets and is quite polluted with plastic etc, go to Adeje instead).I do recommend this property but the site team communication needs to be better."
