"We were upgraded to a very nice ocean view room after pointing out that the garden view was of an active building site. The room was quite finished - ensuite screwed shut and no gas in the BBQ at first. The manager had to defer to HQ before being able to upgrade. The location was stunning! A beautiful beach (dolphins one day one!) Great location for other beach areas e.g. cathedral cove (walk) and hot water beach (drive). Probably the highlight of our visit to the North Island."
