"Location was in the CBD but near the Southern Cross station so fine during the daylight hours but questionable after dark. Staff was pleasant but the room had no windows plus was small, musty and on the ground floor. Every sound outside the door could be heard from adjoing rooms. As a solo male traveller it was adequate at best. I would not recommend for travellers who have safety concerns. Yes the CBD is expensive but this would be a wise time to spend a little more. "

"Road noise was loud, beds were uncomfortable and bathrooms not very clean. Check in staff were not very welcoming. Paid for my room then an additional $50 put on hold, charging me an additional unnecessary surcharge. "

"This was a peaceful night in the middle of a very vibrant city. Room was set up so everything was intuitive and one thing I liked was that the bathroom was easy to use with clear writing on the shampoo and conditioner bottles (for those of us with glasses) and the water was hot and strong. Just great. Thank you. "

"We had a great view of the city and the room was spacious and clean. Carpet has seen better days and the room gets a bit hot at night (not sure what was going on with the aircon); otherwise, all good. Will stay there again."
