"First off, I am an American so I have that point of view. The hotel reminds me of old Hollywood. It is a classic with tons of history that is showing it's age. I liked it a lot, my wife not so much. It was clean and the staff was great. The bed was hard and we never did figure out the AC system. It is in the Muslim district which we hadn't anticipated, but was no problem and everyone treated great. It's noisy outside, but that is living in any city. These are difficult times in Israel and we pray for peace."

Very pleasant stay

"Surprisingly pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. I was most impressed with the responsiveness and friendliness of the staff wherever we were, helping us with our luggage, making sure we have a place to park our car, accomodating us wherever we needed help. The room was clean and pleasantly appointed, breakfast was plentiful, and in an attractive setting. This will be our go to hotel from now on. "
