"As an advocate of adaptive reuse of historic buildings I enjoyed experiencing the attractive converted apartment -hotel spaces. Somewhat more comfortable sofas/chairs would have made my stay nicer, as would retrofit of the street-facing windows to make them more sound-proof. Also, the environment along 7th Street seemed rather sketchy"

"Check in is difficult and not convenient. Read all details before booking! When you can get in, additional charges to park etc. apt is clean, very small for a “junior penthouse”. Checked out early and had a difficult time getting key back to over-see er. You can’t exit the flor without the key and leaving the key in the apt strands you on the floor... "

"WARNING - This location will take a $250 deposit per stay and return it after your departure BUT can take more than 24 days for the deposit return. The pool at this facility is very small and 3 feet deep so very limited for workouts. If you like to sleep in this is not possible beyond 8 am due to the neighboring construction noise. This construction will go on for at least another 12 months. Cleanliness is OK but not thorough as I had to wash things to be sure. I found light fixtures that did...

"VERY NOISY - the property isn't advertised as being across the street and above an outdoor nightclub, but it is. On the first night we returned home exhausted to hear and feel the room vibrate from the club booming away across the street. It continued on throughout the night till 4am and then re-started for the cleaning up at 8am. The place is let by Pelican Residences (who aren't supposed to sub-let through Airbnb, we were asked not to enter through reception to avoid awkward questions). ...
