This property was a perfect setup for our group. Felt safe in neighborhood, check in was easy, stocked with basic necessities. Quick drive to Disneyland and close to groceries and quick restaurants. Would stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed

This is a house in a yard. My family (2 adults and 2,4,7) and I came to California to visit Los Angeles and Disneyland. Each day we were out the door by 8:30 and didn't return until past midnight. This bungalow was more than perfect for us. It had plenty of places to sleep, great air conditioning, great water pressure, and a safe place to park in a great neighborhood. There was no stove, but we never use the stove anyway. We did use the hell out of the microwave. There are TONS of places to eat and shop nearby..

False advertisement

This is NOT a 2 bedroom. As soon as I checked in I contacted the owner, because I waas expecring the 2 bedroom that I booked and paid for. His response was, this is not listed as a 2 bedroom and the pictures relect that. I took a screenshot of the multiple descriptions of his "2 bedroom California Bungalow" and forwarded it him. His response was "Sorry for the miscommunication but there is plenty of room for you and your guests". I am now having to go through the process with VRBO to get my money back. It is crazy what VRBO expects from the consumer when they have been tricked by someones false advertisement, but I am still hopeful that I will ne reimbursed. Either way, I would advise against renting from this homeowner.

Needs to update listing and get some new appliances.

Cons: Not a 2 bedroom as listed. Bunks in the family room and bathroom off the family room, so when someone needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, light went on and noise disturbed sleep. The TV in the family room needs replacing as the sound is terrible on about a 5 level. Also, the coffee machine needs replacing. It is a Mr. coffee type, so replace the darn thing. Made coffee before my shower, only to have 1/2 pot made by time I was done. I had to push on the top of the pot to get it to empty the coffee. No yard lots of construction work outside no privacy owner's door is facing rental and the BBQ was so dirty, we bought char coal to use the little one. NO stove as listed, only a hot plate. The good part was only a 45 min. to Disneyland - 11 miles and the shower was good.

30 minute drive to Disneyland, an hour drive to Santa Monica pier, Walmart was 10 minutes away, and plenty of restaurants nearby. We just needed a place to sleep and shower and this place did the trick. Description pretty accurate, bungalow behind a house and garage. Kitchen had microwave and fridge. Bathroom could’ve been a little cleaner but overall it was a good stay.

Upon arrival, we found the gate locked even though we were told it would be open for easy access. We waited outside for about 30 minutes until the host opened the gate, and no apology was offered. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the unit was unacceptable—the floors were sticky, the coffee pot had old tea/coffee residue, the bed sheets had not been changed and had visible black hair from previous guests (my wife is blonde), and the bathroom baseboards were dirty.

Overall it was fine. Definetly not a 2 bed room. It is a garage sized place in the same lot as the owner. It does the job if you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower. Cleanliness wasn't great and bunkbed was wobbly and seemed unsafe to sleep on the top.

Very nice safe neighborhood. Check in and out was easy. Pet friendly. Near Knott’s Berry Farm and shopping. The place was located behind the owner’s house and the garage. detached 1 bedroom, with two beds and a couch, tv and two bunk beds. Kitchen with microwave, small fridge with small freezer. Portable burner for cooking and dishes, glasses and cookware but limited. Never saw the owner’s which was nice. I wish they would have the entryway alittle more esthetic. Had to walk past washer/ dryer outside . Overall, the place got the overall job done. Thank you for a nice visit.
