"The motel surroundings were clean, quiet after 9pm and a very friendly cat called Momo which out daughter took a liking to. The room we stayed in had very comfortable beds and pillows. "Came for an overnight stay, were settled into our room fast and given internet access for free. The area was quit until the neighbouring property started mulching trees, there were books with lists of restaurants and other conveniences provided and the use of sky tv, coffee tea etc. Everything in the room was neat and well presented, the room was clean. "Great place to stay. Room was very spacious (esp. after dogbox in Auckland) clean and tidy. OK, it is not new, but everything was in working order and full stove, fridge and microwave, plus plenty of utensils, made cooking easy. They also have a small, but adequate, gym on site. We had to hole up here during Cyclone Gabrielle and it was fine for the three nights we stayed. Staff and owners were very helpful and chatty. Bonus was being able to watch T20 Womens World Cup on TV!"

"A charming house on a very spacious plot of land. Plenty of room for activities and very private. A lovely spa and outdoor fire pit perfect for the cool evenings. Top that off with a spectacular beach just over the dunes less than a 10 min walk away. Also close to waipu town centre and mcleods brewery. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area."
