"Beautiful property, great location and very helpful staff. Would have been nice to have a dresser in the room or something with drawers to store our clothes. There’s plenty of space in the room and a dresser would be easy to accomodate. Also, occupants should be warned to only swing the shower door to the outside of the shower since it’s very easy for the shower door to hit the shower head if you open it in. There’s the potential for a serious accident. "

"We loved our stay at the Pontchartrain Hotel. The friendly staff really made our experience, but the rooms are comfortable and clean, with large bathrooms. We also loved the rooftop bar and the food was great. Wish we had more time to use the streetcar to tour the area; the brief time we rode it, it was a fun way to see the area."

"Very friendly staff and very relaxing after long days attending a nearby conference. Location was easily walkable to the convention center as well as attractions in the French Quarter. The Peacock Lounge was beautiful and very lively on Saturday night, but the room was so peaceful and quiet that I had the best sleep. Not to mention the beds were cozy. Stayed in a Premium double bed room. Loved the extra touches at check in and in the room, plus the bathroom and room overall were spacious."

"The AC leaked and soaked my dirty clothes that were on the floor under the return air vent. They were nice enough to give me a plastic bag to carry my soaking wet clothes back to houston in, but that’s about It. I believe had I booked direct and not through hotels.com they would have been more accommodating. Otherwise it a beautiful hotel. I spent two nights and everyone was very friendly. "
