"The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. "

"This is student accommodation that turns into a bed and breakfast over the summer. For me this meant that I had a private room close to central london for the price of a hostel bed. The building, the rooms, the bathrooms are quite old. However, it didnt really bother me since I was staying there only for one night. It was quite loud at night as its located in a busy area. "We loved our stay at Palmers Lodge in our ensuite bunk bed room. The building is amazing, the staff were friendly, our bunk beds were super comfortable, our belongings were safe in our room, we were close to the tube. Towels and sheets and tea/coffee makings were provided.The bar/restaurant downstairs was super handy , the lounge areas were pleasant and comfortable. We were able to store our luggage after checking out for a small fee."

"Hostel is in an excellent location to explore Bath city centre by foot with children. There were many more facilities available than those listed on Hotels.com website including fridge, kettle & hob for self-catering and a gym. Take your own towel."

"First thing that made me go wow was how beautiful the hostel was. The ambient lights were a good touch. My oh my the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hostel. The lockers are very good and easy to use, safe and secure. The staffs were super friendly and were always willing to help me out. It is an amazing hostel suitated in a prime location with quick access to both central station and queens Street rail station. If you're Canadian like me there a Tim Hortons."

"Great location for city. Really terrible cheap mattress, you could feel every spring digging in your back or side. I feel sorry for the students staying at this uni. Everything else was good, but if you want to sleep well, go elsewhere. "

"Near to prime area"

"It was okay. In terms of the area, it's amazing. Very central. The British Museum is 10 min walk from it. We got to do a lot without using the tube much, which is always nice. In terms of the facilities and personnel, the mattress was uncomfortable & the guy in the breakfast room a bit rude. I guess for the price it's okay, but not brilliant."
