"Had a great stay at the Stratford. Location was great, only hiccup is that they don't have luggage storage if you arrive early or leave later in the day. They refer you across the street to store your bags for $8 a day. I didn't mind, but would have been nice to leave bag with the hotel. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place. "

"This is a really cool old hotel (built in 1912). If you are looking for a modern five star hotel (with all the amenities), it is probably not for you. But, if you enjoy staying in a building that is on the historic register, you will really like this place. The elevator is vintage - but for me that was part of the charm. "Nice older hotel. Interesting furniture in the rooms. Small european-style elevator. Friendly, helpful staff. My only problem was that the WiFi coverage in my room was not good. However, when I had to do a 4:45 am zoom call, the staff let me use an office off the lobby."

"I had to check in at Stafford Hotel which was a bit inconvenient. Room was good size and right on cable car line. Morton’s is two blocks away & Union Square is close as well."
