"Been coming here for the last 35 years... My go-to when I come to South Lake Tahoe. Always clean comfortable and quiet. In the heart of everything you want but so close to the lake you can feel it. The bang for the buck is almost impossible to beat in South Lake. And having stayed here well over 25 times I've never encountered any riff raff or homeless people or anything but Good vibes and good times and the best hot tub ever!!"

"Beautiful location on the lake with semi-private beach. The grounds are immaculate as is the golf course. 3 restaurants plus room service. The outdoor gas fire pits are really nice."

"Check in was wonderful, the hotel made sure we had a room that was easy for my sister to get into who has back issues and can’t go upstairs. Very accommodating. They also let me check in 30 mins early which was very nice. The room however did have a bit of a smell. Not unbearable but maybe just because it’s an older place? The beds were comfy. The fridge was a bit loud but we were able to sleep ok. Nicely located to shopping and nature paths and restaurants etc. It was a decent place to stay...

"Gorgeous land and buildings. Amazing room. A door on the master bath cabinet in our room had broken hinges and it looked like it had been that way for a while and not repaired. The shower felt a little awkward with no good place to hang your towel while you shower so you could easily get it when you're done. One of the drawers in the master bedroom would not stay closed and would slide open slightly by itself. Overall, an incredible place to stay."
