"This was our first visit to Holden Beach. The house was exactly as pictured except the owner has added some very comfortable outdoor seating on the deck. We spent mornings and evenings sitting outside watching and listening to the ocean. The location was perfect for us - close to restaurants (I highly recommend Mermaids Island Grill) and Sunset Slush (Italian Ice) within a 3 minute drive along with a Public Beach access diagonally across from the driveway. There is also another Public Beach...

"Place was in a nice location and close to the beach. We wish it would have been less breezy, but the weather was nice. Place was very nice and updated efficiencies. Only thing I would say that I wanted to use the coffee machine but feared to use it as it looked like it had not ben clean for quite a while. We decided to coffee hop other locations which was fun. Would love to come back in the summer as this place is very relaxing as well as the town."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean and well appointed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch/balcony where we could see the ocean (or, at night, hear it). We liked the location and that the neighborhood was so quiet (we were there in early March). We chose the house because it is dog-friendly. We lost our 13-year old pup just before our scheduled arrival and decided to go ahead and make the trip. It was a good decision. This house was a wonderful place to grieve...
