Cozy Cottage one mile from the Beach and Boat Ramp! Pet Friendly Too!!


This Cozy one bedroom dog friendly with (no weight limit) cottage situated under the old Live Oak trees has the charm of the south with front and rear porches to your enjoy morning coffee. The fenced yard with covered patio gives you extra relaxation with your pups. Car port for your car, motorcycle or boat and parking for your trailer. Nicely stocked kitchen with new appliances. Living room has a new pull out couch for an extra guest plus a recliner to watch the 55" TV. Laundry room with washer and dryer and ironing station.
Linens included. Bed made for you upon arrival. Linen for the pull out in the cedar chest. (Note: Entry to the bathroom is through the bedroom.) A set of towels for each guest provided. Beach towels and chairs. Corn hole and board games for rainy day fun!

We are smoke free and dog friendly with a fenced in yard!
(Pet fees apply) for up to 2 dogs no size limit

Walking distance to two Deli restaurants and several consignment shops. One mile from the free boat launch.

All this only one mile from the sand at Holden Beach!

Holden Beach features a playground basketball and tennis courts three restaurants ice cream and candy shops. There is a public fishing pier and two parks to fish from as well.

For boaters and fisherman the free public boat launch is just down the road on the ICW. Lots of shaded parking is available on our property with plenty of room for your boat trailer. The mile between the house and the island is the "Causeway" full of Beach Stores, Ice Cream Parlors, Gift Shops, Mini Golf and Water Slides. Rental companies have Kayaks, Bicycles, Jet Skis, Fishing Boats, Fishing Equipment, Beach Chairs, Golf Carts available to rent. The ICW is a wonderful place to Fish Water Ski and Kayak. The Shopping Center has a Food Lion Supermarket, Subway, Dominos Pizza, China Moon, Surfers Cafe, Bait Shop and Anaya Hair Salon. Just 2 minutes from the house.

Several seafood restaurants are available locally on and off the Island, with or without water views. You will find a selection of Menus in the Kitchen drawer. Both Seafood and Produce markets for fresh food are just down the road. For a quick sub or sandwich or breakfast, two Deli's are within walking distance of the house.

In the summer months Holden Beach offers free concerts at the Gazebo every Sunday night. Tuesdays are for Tie Dye. Bring the family and make yourself a souvenir Tshirt. Wednesday night is Turtle Talk at the Town Hall building featuring films and a lecture, educating children and adults about Sea Turtles. You might get lucky enough to witness a turtle hatching on the beach! Our new playground offers Tennis, Basketball and amusement for the kids.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is exactly as described. It’s very convenient to Holden Beach and there is a grocery store just a couple minutes away. The cottage will be the first place we look for the next time we come to Holden Beach.

Great Place

Anniversary get away

Loved our stay! House was clean, well stocked, and a great location! The only issue we had was no means of water on the outside to rinse our feet off from the beach. Hated walking in with all the sand. I would definitely stay here again tho!

Very cute cottage which was clean and comfortable for our weeks stay. Easy access to Holden Beach and great location to stay while traveling to the other North and South Carolina beaches. Linda was very prompt with communication. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

More Than Satisfied

I found the rental at the last minute. Other than having a problem setting up my Vrbo account, it was a great experience. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. They even wished me a Merry Christmas. It was a great little cottage and I would definitely stay there again. I would give it a 6 star rating if I could.

Charming

This cottage was so charming and cozy! It was a great jumping off point to see the area from Holden Beach, locally, to Oak Island to climb the lighthouse and to Southport to walk the quaint town. The cottage is so wonderfully decorated and made us feel so welcome. The fenced-in yard was perfect for my furbaby and we enjoyed sitting out back in the evenings. Thanks so much to the hosts for sharing their sweet cottage with us!

Near Beach & Great for Pets

Perfect location near Holden Beach. Nice restaurants and a wide sandy beach with great fossil hunting! Convenient accommodations for our 2 little dogs. We were able to enjoy the nice weather on a covered porch area while our dogs were safe and secure within an adjacent large private fenced yard. The cottage was clean and tidy and well equipped, including a washer/dryer. King sized bed is especially comfy. Hosts are extremely helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great Pet Friendly Cottage

This was an ideal place for us; a couple traveling with our dog. The house is newly renovated with lovely decor. It has a carport and a fenced in back yard with patio. Although we didn't do much cooking, the owners have the kitchen stocked with most everything you could need. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The owner met us when we checked in and made sure we understood the particulars/answered any questions. Overall, a great experience!

Exactly as advertised

This was a great little cottage that is perfect for two people. Host was very responsive when needed. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, wifi, and laundry available. The property appeared to be recently renovated, and the furniture and linens were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Property was very close to the bridge to Holden Beach and right on the main road which was super convenient. I would definitely recommend this property to any 2-person family or couple.

Cutest and cleanest beachy getaway!

My husband, dog and I stayed at this property and it was an incredible weekend getaway! The host was amazing at communication (the best communication I’ve ever had with VRBO!) and truly thoughtful. The cottage was quaint and had all of the necessities. It was decorated so cute and completely spotless inside! The fenced back yard was a huge plus for our dog! The only thing I’d note is that though it is only about a mile from the beach, it isn’t walkable due to the road and bridge. Not a negative, but just a good thing to note if you’re a big walker. But it is quick and easy drive to the beach. And an added bonus - the property is just across the street from a wonderful deli to grab lunch from :) the perfect getaway and the best hosts! I’d definitely stay again.

Cute and fun!

This my second stay at this cute cottage. Well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, very clean and close to everything. The best part is our furry family members are welcome. We all enjoy sitting on the patio in the fenced in back yard. The boat launch is very close. Perfect for cruising up the water way! We will be back.
