"What a quaint little place this was! We loved our time in Thorpe Bay and this little apartment was just perfect. One note is that I believe there had been an animal sitting on the sofa because I had a horrible allergic reaction the night we were there after laying on it. "We had a wonderful stay at T's Beach House. It really is the perfect spot to relax and is spacious enough for all. There was a lovely little selection of toys for our little one to play with too. The beach is literally on the doorstep and sandy shores a short walk or 2 minute drive a way. Therese kept in contact and quickly answered any questions we had. We'd love to return."

"Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....

Charming and perfect, with amazing food
"Excellent, charming hotel. Not overly grand, but comfortable, clean, beautiful and extremely friendly. It felt like a home, like I wanted to just hang out in the lounge all day looking at the sea and chatting with people. It had a kind of magic that is hard to describe. The sea view from my room was spectacular, the bed was comfy, everything was as hoped. Above and beyond was the breakfast - easily the best I've ever had, with a ton of options, all of them first class. Dinner in the restaurant was also the best dinner I had in Eastbourne. It's a really great restaurant. The location was wonderful - west of the pier, where it's quieter and more genteel, with a gorgeous lawn right out front, and sea and promenade beyond it. You can walk to the pier in 10 minutes, but I was more impressed by the walk along the beach going the other way, towards Holywell, Italian Gardens and the South Downs. It was all much prettier than I expected. I am already planning my next trip back to the Lansdowne. It was a really great, relaxing trip. "
