"The staff at check- in was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Then, we had to unexpectedly check out at 2:00 in the morning, and, again the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were well supplied with microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and coffee. Unfortunately, the hair dryer did not work, not did the vent fan on the bathroom. The bedspreads seemed like they haven't been cleaned in a while, but the sheets seemed clean and fresh, and there were some questionable stains on the...

"The owner is incredibly nice. He has made many renovations since our last stay and we are always happy with our stay. He has redone a lot of the pool and it was so relaxing. Our jacuzzi tub was nice, the beds are comfy, and the jacuzzi room was very romantic. We stay here every trip to eureka. The jacuzzi suites are at the back of the building which gives them privacy. "The Candlewck is nestled back against a beautiful forest. The room was retro with the basic amenities. We enjoyed the jetted tub. Several restaurants and 2 convenience stores were within walking distance. The only complaint is the mattress and pillows."
