Sitting around the firepit listening to the sounds of The whipperwill bird singing his song to to waki g up early morning watching the red-eye vireo catching bugs to feed her babies. The inside of the cabin is just beautiful. The main bedroom has a bathroom with a walk in shower, along with a doorway leading to the hot tub. "Really well furnished, enjoyed Alexa and television. Suitable spot for day trips, east and west; this is a very large lake. There are actually more amenities to this property than I recall seeing in the description. Plenty of room for parking a boat and two vehicles. Excellent interaction with the owner, who is exceptionally responsive. Overall, five star. I would go back in a heartbeat."

"This is a terrific little off grid cabin in a beautiful, secluded location. Surrounded by national forest, it has everything you need to get away from it all. "We had plenty of room for 3 families. Great area to find places to hike. We ran the dishwasher daily with this group. The hot water didn’t always keep up… but overall it was roomy inside and out. The outdoor fire pit area was nice to roast marshmallows. We had room to play cornhole as well. Wonderful host that communicated well."

"We had a wonderful time and loved the seclusion, however the house was dirty when we arrived. We understand it is bug season but if we had to spend 3 hours cleaning the place, we should have been allowed to check in before 4pm. While we loved the remote area, we felt exposed due to no curtains on the rear picture windows and the inability to deadbolt the back door. My recommendation is that it be cleaned before guests arrive."

"My husband & I stayed at this beautiful house for a week for our anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful! The view was beautiful and the house was spotless. Comfy furniture to relax after our days of sightseeing. The ride to the house was all paved and easy to maneuver, especially for us Floridians! Linda is awesome and communicated excellently. We went to Cumberland Falls (amazing!) and also the Cave Hill Winery among many other historical sites. Most were less than 30 min away. Lots to do...

"We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. We hauled a vehicle for the cruise in and had plenty of room for the truck and trailer. Our ONLY negative was that the carpet was a bit worn in places, but the place was so clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!"
