The location is terrific, the staff tremendously helpful (even getting me checked in hours early, which was wonderful after a long teams-Atlantic flight), and the room excellent, with a great assortment of pillows. The breakfast was excellent also.
The room was on the small side but it really didn't matter. Top marks to this fine boutique hotel.
An older once in the country, but now in the city "country house" has been converted very sympathetically into a lovely hotel catering for discerning travelers. Well away from the very noisy night spots - but within walking distance if you want them. Some of the room configurations of an older property mean space is not what it would be in a "modern" hotel but it makes it more interesting, loads of character and very quiet. A short walk up the hill through the park takes you to an amazing vantage point overlooking Stockholm, 3 minutes down the hill takes you past an excellent Italian Restaurant you have to experience and right next to the metro, 3 stops to center of town. Breakfast great - staff very helpful. Would go back.
Stockholm is a city where budget travellers have to accept either no window or no bathroom - and often both. So this with its newly-renovated room AND bathroom was very good for the money even if I was occasionally wondering what time of day it was (still no window). It's not too far from Gamla Stan and although there's nothing much except a McDonalds in the immediate vicinity, it's within striking distance of everything and was a great choice for someone (me) who knew nothing about the city. Thery were still renovating my floor, which was noisy in the daytime, but then they have to do it sometime.
This is the 2nd Scandic Hotel I’ve stayed in (previously in Berlin). It is well designed and perfect for a short trip. on Friday night there were 3 lively bars with a DJ. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast of hot and cold food. We ate in the restaurant/coffee shop one night and I had the best burger I’ve ever had in my life and they even provided a gluten free bun. I highly rate this hotel which also has a good (free) internet connection which enabled me to work during my stay.
Central location, service is ok. Bedrooms are quiet small but clean, also bathroom is a bit dark and small but clean. The breakfast I didn't try but normally the food quality in Sweden is good. In a few words I'll book it again on my next visit.
We really enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel with colorful outside set in a park and garden area.. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed eggs, nutella/toast, smoothies, granola, fruit, meat and cheeses.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English.
We dealt often with Martina who was always cheerful and happy to
help. Also the tech savvy young man who went to great lengths to
help us disable a lost iPad. We did not get his name, but his help
and assurances were invaluable.

This hotel in trendy Sodermalm is comprable to the Omena Hotel, but with a receptionist and a fantastic breakfast. Great place to stay, and while not in the centre of the city, it's a quick walk to two different metro stations. Loved the staff and our quick stopover here.
Spent four days at The loft? I was a bit worried about lack of washing facilities in our room on the third floor but I got used to wandering up and down the corridor. However, in my 60s, you choose you time to avoid crowds.
The breakfast was really good and relaxed.
I read a couple of reviews and decided to book this hotel because it is on a hill with great view overlooking the harbor and old town. The hotel staff responded to my request and gave me a room with great view! There is a garden beside the hotel that makes the environment very pleasant. The hotel staff were very responsive to my questions or request while I stayed there. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They put a curtain that can block the long-day sunlight. It has a kitchen on each floor, however it was closed when the staff were off duty. I did not know that and I was hoping to make a cup of coffee after coming back from my tour. Unfortunately I had no chance to use it since the reception was closed (a bit disappointed...). The bathrooms were clean and available. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants so eating out is not an issue. There are several buses going to old town and city center (#2 bus is the most frequent one). I bought a 3-day bus pass and found taking buses very convenient. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
