"This property is a little gem - the room is very small, but it offers everything that you need when you are a visitor and only sleep in the room. The breakfast though, was the cherry on top - one of the most delicious continental breakfast we had anywhere - with high quality products at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended."

"The owner is an amazing hostess and I thank her for the excellent communication and hospitality she exhibited. Truthfully though, the spot is a bit difficult to drive to on a narrow cobblestone street. Drivers confuse with Boutique 1012 which is up on the main road. Also, we enjoyed our quaint and spacious room, however the shower leaked to floor despite precautions and bathroom very small. The soaps and lotions are lovely, thank you! "Wow, didn’t expect this hotel to be this beautiful! The hotel its self is historic outside but super modern and beautiful inside. Then the view from the hotel is just unbelievably stunning. Not mention that each room has A view! And the location! Walking distance to most places! Staffs are all super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing! Freshly baked bread, freshly cooked eggs, served with fresh fruit, coffee and juice…so much more, we can’t say enough good...

"Christina was very helpful getting us oriented. We were a little disappointed that the breakfast part was not actually at the Chalet, it was up at the Saudade cafe, a short walk away. Also, there was no free coffee on premises, only tea. Why is this? Bed was comfortable and room was quiet at night, as long as guests above went to bed. Floors very creaky. This location is not very close to area attractions or old town, so there is a lot of walking on very steep hills. You need to be in shape! "

"Unique design and style, amazing breakfast ( freshly baked goods). Rooms are phenomenal. Area is ok. But you can drive 15-20 min and find restaurants. You have to have a car otherwise there is nothing around it. Parking is on the street. "
