"The road was long and windy to get there, but the welcome and beauty of the place vastly made up for it! The property is less than 30 minutes from the center of Santiago, located in a green valley. The main house dates from the early 18th century, with thick granite walls, and has been wonderfully restored with all modern comfort (including good wifi!). "Staff was excellent, everyone was very nice. The hotel itself was clean and in good condition, but pretty straightforward without a lot of embellishments. No pictures on walls, no color in the rooms. Rather bland for a four star hotel. Breakfast was OK, but a little underwhelming, also. But, we certainly had enough to get the day started. Location of hotel was very good. "

"Reception staff was extremely helpful in arranging a tour, taxi and guiding us to local sights. A bit of a walk from old town (~20min) but the weather was great so not an issue. Just next to a big department syore el corte ingles"
