Sachsenhausen Hotels

Located on the south bank of the river, Sachsenhausen is where locals go to eat, drink and be merry. The narrow lanes fan out from Affentor Platz and lead to the city's best cider houses which produce their own Apfelwein. On the Museumsufer, along the river embankment, are the Städel Gallery, the Deutsche Filmmuseum, the Communication Museum, and the Crafts Museum, among others. On Saturdays, Schaumainkai hosts the city's largest flea market.
