"Had to switch rooms due to smell (sewage and fish) and humidity. Others did as well. Resorts is old and not adult friendly. Wont keep kids out of the little “adult pool”. Alcohol is low shelf cheap headache recipe. Its just an old resort and not what weve seen from dreams riviera maya. Wouldnt stay again. Marina town is fun and cute little village with restaurants better than resort."

"My stay at Barcelona Maya grand Tropical was most exceptional n unique Resort I'll ever stayed. The welcome with all of the staffed was so professional n curiously to me n my friends n families. I'll give this Resort a Five Diamond star to all of the ammonite n the Most exceptional Respect s from all of the staff Members n curiously throughout my stayed there for a week.I'll will urged all guest who wanted to stay in this Resort will have a warm welcome n curiously Respect throughout their stayed there."

Unico Hotel Riviera Maya - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"I stayed at Unico with a large group of family members. There were 14 of us total. We all had an amazing time an Unico. Firstly, we were assigned a host named Luis and he was awesome! He checked in with me every morning to see if I needed anything and to make reservations at any of the restaurants. We chatted through WhatsApp messenger which made everything easy. He also booked massages for us and hair appointments. The staff at the pool were also great! Shot out to Alberto, Antonio, and Eugenio. They were very attentive and courteous. I got a massage from Concepcion and she was amazing! I fell asleep halfway through because it felt so good. Cafe Inez is an amazing coffee shop and they also serve delicious sandwiches, salads, and pastries. The restaurants were delicious as well but the cafe was the star of the show for me. The drinks and food at this all inclusive are of the highest quality. Overall I rate Unico a 10 out of 10. This is a high class adults only resort that will wow you. I’m already booking my next trip at Unico in October."

"Resort is nice upon entry, clean spacious rooms, good food for breakfast lunch and dinner, great activities at the resort, nice waterpark and kids center. Me and friends did experience racism at the pool with a white guest from another country, telling me and friends to go back to our country or where we came from. The staff attempted to rectify the situation and although they were apologetic, the incident/altercation happened a second time this time a male got involved. We’ve been to this resort now twice and never experienced this. This definitely dampened the rest of the trip, Overall nice resort besides this issue."
