"The property is beautiful. The owners have thought of everything and provided for you. The owners are very friendly and there to help but unobtrusive. The seafood farm experience was great. There were lots of oysters, clams and mussels. Plus the mountain and Puget Sound views create a very relaxing experience. This was one of our best stays ever. If you like the outdoors you will love it. Just note there are 55 steps to the beach and some are steep and occasionally wet."

"We went to Shelton to visit family and found peace, quiet and a beautiful cabin. If you like to hike and are adventurous the owners will guide you to amazing trails. The outside of our cabin was the best. A swing, hammocks, and fire pit. We highly recommend this place. We’ll be back next year ."

"The hostesses were very friendly and helpful. We had several day trips and cancelled two of them to make more time at the house. We had fun diving for sand dollars, looking for oysters and digging for clams. The kids loved the kayaks, canoe and paddle boards. The sunset was pretty every night. We saw sea otters and seals. The house is ten minutes from groceries and gas. You want to have water shoes as it is a rocky beach, but we knew that from the pictures. We really loved Magic Hour!"

"We enjoyed the view of the sound. Hammock and window seat were restful and renewing. Sitting out on the deck with fire pit was mesmerizing. Appreciated the bottled water to offset sulfur tap water. Great place to relax, read and sleep."
