A nice surprise to see how big the room was and over looking the water side too. The swimming pool was very clean and not at all busy, towels, rest room and a bar too!
The hotel has a nice bar, a shop for essentials and also a Starbucks if you don't want to travel too far for a coffee.
This hotel was close to everything and the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We had a king studio room and it was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. We are planning another trip to St. Pete early next year and plan to stay here again.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful historic building that has always been a hotel. You feel like you are stepping back in time. Very tall narrow doors and ceilings in room, seashell sinks, soft bed and cheapest rate for any hotel in this area near the museums and restaurants. Great place to stay if you don't want to drive back home. Five Guys Burgers and Fries open late just half a block from hotel. Nice area too. I need to add that for my very low 2-digit rate I got breakfast the next morning. A hot omelette, a huge sausage patty, juices, milk, coffee, muffins, breads, etc... all included. Parking is $4 with no in/out next door or you can purchase $6 parking pass from hotel that gives you unlimited entry/exit privileges. Met very nice people next morning from all over: Austin, Texas; Savannah, Georgia; Belfast, Northern Ireland who all were enjoying their stay. I would stay again.
Hotel Indigo in St. Petersburg took care of our family (18 of us) in a wonderful way, and we loved our stay. The only thing wrong with the room that I was in (#105) was that there are no mirrors in the room. If one person is in the bathroom, another person has no mirror to use. It seems it would be an easy adjustment!
Also, I still don't know what my final bill wasVery . They said Expedia would provide it (?).
My husband and I visited the new boutique hotel in downtown St. Petersburg for a little rest and relaxation in July 2014.
The interior room was surprisingly nice with windows overlooking an indoor/outdoor section of the complex. We began our evening at the Canopy which is the open terrace bar on top of the hotel and enjoyed the views and a huge, delicious grouper sandwich with chips and wine.
The hotel room is contemporary with that new, clean feel. My husband thought it needed an occasional chair and pillows that weren't so big(for sleeping). The "clawfoot" tub caught my attention while my husband enjoyed the rain cascade shower.
Valet service parks your car from the reserved spots in front of the hotel and there is no extra charge to have your car brought out and parked again during your stay (in case you want to tour a little).
The stay included a nice buffet breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and French or regular toast along with coffee, tea & orange juice.
We bought felt this was a place that we would recommend to friends, family or anyone making a business trip.

We were only there for the night but it was fantastic. Brian the owner was so friendly and obliging.
The room was divine, very old world, charming and clean. Happy hour was a bonus and much fun. Breakfast was delicious. We had a great night there.
This house is very well located, especially if you'd like to walk around.
The staff was excellent, and the room was very comfortable.
It offers enough privacy for a B&B.
The only downside is that you can hear other guests if they are in the kitchen downstairs. typically this isn't a problem as most B&B customers don't party to late, but we did have an evening where we were trying to go to bed early and a couple was making food in the kitchen late at night.
