"So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). We stayed for 2 days and opted out of daily clean in place of £15 worth of drink vouchers for the bar. Staff were lovely, though there was no one around at all when we arrived at 1pm - so a poor first impression. Food was excellent. Drink prices seemed excessive tbh. "Room was comfortable however the seagulls kept us awake every morning from 5am walking on the roof (Room5) There were a couple of examples where ingredients listed for food items on the menu were left out, proving to be a disappointment for some dishes. The gnocchi didn't have any chestnuts, The pancakes didn't have coconut yoghurt for example. More vegetarian options would have been welcomed."

"You can't beat the location of Sandbanks hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. I would not go into the swimming pool again as I found it very difficult to get in and out via the awful metal steps. As most of the guests were elderly I doubt if any of them would use the pool. The Haven pool is much safer with wide steps."

A delightful stay at The Sandbanks Hotel
"We spent one night here as we were visiting family in the area. The staff were very welcoming and courteous. Our room was very clean, spacious and was tastefully decorated/ furnished. The price we paid was very competitive for such a lovely hotel and on top of this, we enjoyed a hearty cooked breakfast, and a swim in the indoor pool, all of which was included in the overall price. We look forward to visiting again, hopefully when the weather will be kinder and we can enjoy the sea and the golden sands outside. Thank you."
