I loved the antiques incorporated into the decor and farmhouse feel. The bed was so comfortable and the outdoor environment was charming and inviting. The hostess was communicative and kind."

"We selected this property to join for a 50-year reunion of Nursery School moms. We planned on walking and talking sharing wine and food over the course of our stay. The setting was perfect for all of us. The view of the lake, the horses out to pasture, the variety of birds, the bass fishermen on the shore and the quiet was what we all needed. We walked the vineyards, the horse arena, stalls and wedding venue. Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the towels plentiful, and the furniture well chosen to enjoy the views. The kitchen was well stocked with matching dishes, glasses, pots and pans not always found on other properties. The bathrooms were clean and plentiful making it easy for all the ladies to shower, and bathe without crowding. We purchased our food before arrival and planned on preparing all meals on site over the course of four days. We only needed to drive into Placerville for some seasonings, aluminum foil and saran wrap. We will return and are highly recommending this site for a wedding or other celebration. Arrive early, extend your stay and rest. This should be a 6-star property"

"The property is quite old and quaint. Guests were respectful so we didn’t hear each other. I slept quite well. Also felt very safe. Loved the easy walk to downtown. Met Tom when he delivered breakfast. Very nice host! And I think I met their cat (or a neighbors) that was a charming fellow. "
