I have been to many hotels but this hotel is fantastic, I can not think of one fault
The restaurant is run by a 5 star chef and it's not 5 star money which is excellent
If your looking for privacy this is the most private resort I have ever visited
The hotel is top notch, wonderful atmosphere, personnel, rooms, breakfast, and close to everything in Patong Beach. They even surprised us by setting up our room special for this occasion---I won't spoil it for you. Thank you Grand Mercure we will be back again.

Magic hotel with fabulous roof top bar and infinity pool. Lovely staff and rooms were gorgeous -not to mention the bath!! Make sure though, that you book the rooms overlooking the ocean. A little bit of building construction going on across the road but didn't bother us.
The location was nowhere near the beach but it was worth it. We were impressed with the huge lobby and the cleanliness of the place. We had a flight delay and arrived rather late (almost 7pm) but there were no hassle. Welcome drinks and cold towels were given while we sat at the sofa area. The reception lady then promptly explained the resort facilities and the whole check in procedure before ushering us to our room.
And once again we were wowed by their room. Although it wasn't facing any ocean or pool, it was adequately large and well equipped with more than basic amenities (short of toothbrush though).
There are regular shuttle bus services to ferry us to Patong Beach and back. Just need to arrange with the concierge over the phone.
The breakfast spread was sufficient to cater to a variety of travelers. The gym was wel equipped as well and they do have yoga and other classes if you wish to sign up.
There are 3 pools (different sizes) in this resort for you to choose from. They are very well kept and clean. All comes with pool bar for you to chill if u like to.
There is also a games room where there is a pool table, ping pong table, foosball and dart board. There's no lack of complementary water should you need more as there is a fridge full of it in the room as well.
There is a hugh sun deck area just outside the lobby area, mainly for those that would like to watch sunsets.
Did not managed to try the other restaurants as I personally prefer the local food along Patong B
Incredible resort. Breakfast was lovely overlooking mountains and ocean. Room service was from the chom talay and the same price as the restaurant. The chom talay itself was amazing. Very relaxed. A little bit pricey to get to patong via taxi 350 baht. airport taxi was 900-1200 baht which is quite pricey considering train from airport to hotels in Bangkok is 50 baht
Unforgettable experience for our first honeymoon. At the onset, an upgrade to the pavillion, blown away by the facilities and luxury. Felt comfortable immediately in a quiet, private, secluded and intimate setting. Located at the tip of cape panwa in the midst of lush greenery. Just a short buggy ride/walk out to the nearby small town street with accessible food restaurants.
The staff were more than helpful and accommodating. A particular mention the the staff at the breakfast restaurant who catered to all our funny requests. And though there was a particular sauce lacking, they went all out to create something similar.
I would highly recommend the regent to anyone else looking for tranquility, a place to relax and a place to feel intimate. You can't go wrong. Even if you're bored, it's just a short 20 minute ride to Phuket town.
