"Beautifully appointed & remodeled. Plenty of towels, toiletries & top notch kitchenware. Inviting, comfy down comforter & empty dressers/night stands with plenty of outlets & giant TV in the bedroom. Beautiful living room with very comfortable furniture, another giant TV, throws & pillows to cuddle up & watch a movie. Incredible views of green, lush landscape. We can't wait to visit again!"

"Great smaller home. Recently updated and was done very well. Very narrow garage door opening, but would work for most any type vehicle. Quiet neighborhood but not within walking distance of most anything. Great back yard with picknick table and nice lighting. It is a short drive to grocery stores and casual dinning. Also short drive to beach and fisherman's wharf and to the aquarium."

"We had a wonderful stay and beautiful experience at this property. The guest house is very well appointed, spotlessly clean with a beautiful zen garden patio. Everything was top notch! Communication was excellent, proactive and responsive. We appreciated Jae and Bob allowing us to check in prior to standard check in time. They are the most friendly and gracious hosts. We truly hope to plan another stay in the future."

"Well appointed cottage in Seaside, less than a mile from beautiful urban walking trails & ocean/beach access. Easy drive to Monterey as well. Found tons of delicious local eateries too. Had some trouble accessing property upon arrival, perhaps because we were 30 minutes early or because our welcome email had the incorrect code. Instructions were a little unclear, you have to use the back door. Property management company answered promptly and we got an updated code very quickly. Minor feedback...

"My favorite VRBO. Spotless, warm and cozy. Hillary has supplied everything including spices, aluminum foil and robes no less! The cottage and the gardens are something out of a Hans Christian fairy tale. Hillary is incredibly responsive and clearly takes great care of the cottage with love. Pure perfection."

"This cottage was a convenient location to hang out and cook a few simple meals while in the area for the Sea Otter Bike festival. It housed me, my husband, and 18 year old son. There was good communication with the owners and no concerns noted."

"We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Pacific Grove. Vivian is a great host, very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. The house was perfect for our needs. It has a well stocked kitchen, an area I could work remotely from, beautifully landscaped yard, and its in a great neighborhood just a few minutes drive to the beach. In addition to this, it was great being able to bring our dog with us for our stay. Would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away."

"The view alone is worth staying here. We had both back doors open any time we were there. The layout is perfect for enjoying the sound of the waves and the view of the sunset. "If the Whalers Cottage isn’t the definition of the word “CHILL!”, then I don’t know what else it could be! The soothing sounds of the ocean, crackling fireplace and solitude are outstanding and re-energizing! A fantastic place to come and decompress for couples or the family! My fav moments are when I’d bring my book out with a glass of wine and sit in the bench between the pines overlooking the ocean waves crashing ashore a mere 20 yards away!
