"Wonderful hosts. Room was comfortable with amazing bed and shower. For an historical building, expectations need to be commensurate… just take in the ambience of history, nature, great staff, and wonderful get away from the fray. Restaurant and bar were great. Ample servings….fresh food!"

"I had read a couple, not so great, reviews so i was a little skeptical but when we arrived i couldn't believe how cute and quaint this room was for the unbelievably low price. We had a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot and even a little hair dryer. It was clean and very comfortable. It was all we needed for our nights stay. Check in was very easy. Glad to see Fiddlers' progress since Idalia. Look forward to coming back!!!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay; especially if you want to fish. The on-site restaurant and bar is amazing as we visit this even without staying in the premises. The AC worked great and everything was new (rebuilt after hurricane Idalia). "

"we like to visit small towns with nature trails Chiefland has quite a few. Fanning, and Manatee springs and Swannee state parks Excellent trails for everyone. We also ate in Fowler's Bluff treasure camp restaurant right on the Swannee River. Great food and wonderful service"

"Our entire family loved the home. It had every thing you could need. Rooms were spacious with plenty of storage room. Upstairs wrap around porch was the perfect place to sit, eat and relax from sunup to sundown. View of the Suwannee was breathtaking. Downstairs outside area was the perfect spot for our grandsons birthday party. Kayaks were an added bonus. Kitchen wa well stocked with most anything you’d need to prepare any meal. Large showers in both bathrooms were easily accessible and super clean. Property was large and quietly situated in a sparsely populated area along the river. Hosts were punctual in responding to emails and very accommodating with a special request. Numerous springs located within a 30 minute or less drive. Highly recommend this beautiful home and will be returning in the future."

"The property and the host and the area was wonderful. We very much enjoyed staying there. Incredible time kayaking with dolphins all around us, took a small airplane ride from a local pilot, which was wonderful to see the islands, rented bikes, and bikes all around the neighborhoods, great seafood, live music was great and the place we stayed in was Quaint and cute. The only thing we should have done was checked into whether there was a way to do some light cooking. No stove or a hot plate. But we were only there a few days so it was fine. All in all five stars."
