"It was very well located, clean, well equipped, warm and quiet. Lovely sunny open plan living space. The spiral staircase is steep and narrow - worth noting (but not an issue for us). Martijn was incredibly helpful and responsive. We arrived (as planned) at 4pm and our accommodation wasn’t ready which was frustrating after a very early start/long journey. A big bunch of unmarked keys took a bit of getting used to. we would highly recommend the property."

A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. "We were 2 families. Plenty of space and everything was looked after and clean. The host was really helpful and kind. We were a short distance from the town which was very quaint and felt untouched by tourists. We also had a row of shops and amenities 2 minutes drive in the car. "Our first impression was, “Wow, this is a great place!” The decor and accommodations were beautiful and the loft was super cute and fun! The spiral staircase is very narrow but cute! The view from the back was great and it was very quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might possibly need! We would definitely stay here again!"

A great stay in a beautiful mountain village
"The stay at hotel taeschof was great. The cleanliness of the room and the facility is spectacular. The facilities are very well maintained for an older building. We spent two nights and left refreshed after three long days of travel. The staff was efficient and helpful after we had checked out we had to return as my wife had forgotten her watch. The young lady at the desk immediately went to our room and came back with it. We're traveling by train and the hotel is at the edge of the bus and train station property very convenient when dragging luggage. Our room was on the side of the hotel away from the train tracks and there's some noise from the trains leaving and arriving but we adapted to it quickly and did not disturb our rest. Overall a great stay in a beautiful place."
