"The amenities were amazing! We made very good use of the pool, gym, and fire pit during our stay. Sad that there isn't a hot tub anymore though. The pool room is beautiful and includes men's and women's changing rooms with showers. The pool itself was a little cold for the time of year (May) but they warmed it up for us when we asked. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was good for us, we took the train so getting to town took about a 15-20 min walk each way which we didn't...

"This is a real gem. A tranquil oasis after a long day on the road. Absolutely charming lodgings surrounded by lovely gardens, as well as a koi pond, hot tub and pool fed by mineral springs. There's even a fire pit and a wine garden. When we arrived we relaxed in the tea room with complimentary treats: a choice of teas, scones ( the best) and butter cookies and strawberries. I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities in the room as well. There is a large soaker tub to enjoy the mineral baths...

"We loved staying at the Salem Inn! The room was unique and beautiful and it is in a great central location (basically right across from the Witch House). The only downside was that there was no elevator and our room was on the third floor, but they do have a dumbwaiter to bring your luggage up for you. We had an excellent breakfast included as well. Would definitely stay there again. "

"San Luis Creek Lodge really blew away our expectations for what a small inn could be. It is so beautiful inside and out! Great architecture complemented by beautifully designed interior, with Aesop products to boot. We absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I highly, highly recommend. "It is up on a hill. The viewbover from the king waterview room is beautiful, 3 different windows to look out. The Innskeepers were wonderful!! We felt welcomed and comfortable staying there."

"Irving House is fairly conveniently located for access to Harvard Square/Cambridge. The single occupancy room was tiny but had everything I needed. The shared bathrooms were very clean and there were enough to avoid any waits. The building is a bit old and creaky, but overall comfortable and quiet. If you need the latest in mod cons, this probably isn't the place, but I enjoyed the old-school rooming house ambiance as well as the low price."
