Great place for anyone who wants something different from a cookie-cutter hotel.
The woman who serves as your host speaks great English and is available to
help you in any way. Location is close to important parts of town and is very
quiet. Parking is free. My wife and I thoroughly were glad we booked this hotel.
(We stayed in Rm. 23 which even had 2 separate sinks.)
There is a wonderful Italian restaurant called Davisto within walking distance of about 10 minutes on 17, rue Saint Philippe. I would say it was the best meal we had in nearly 3 weeks in France. The hotel
host will tell you how to get there.

An historic hotel in a beautiful setting. Large and comfortable rooms overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Service was exceptional. Lobby floor lounge was grand yet cozy. The property does have some quirks and travelers comfortable only with the most modern of amenities may be happier elsewhere. Michelin two star rated restaurant which was exceptional.
Great hotel excellent staff and room, the spa and the staff there were amazing and you could got straight into lift and down to spa in just robe! The restaurant is overpriced and food wasn't particularly hot or that special! I've had much better! But the hotel itself was very special, just feels like the restaurant is an afterthought!! But the city has plenty of great eateries close by so wasn't a problem!
This was our first time in Nice and the hotel was great, especially for a relatively long stay of 1 week. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a room overlooking the ocean and it was wonderfully quiet. The room was clean and spacious and had maid service twice a day. Our balcony door didn't lock properly and staff had it fixed the next day. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We had to take two separate elevators to reach our room but that was a minor inconvenience. When we checked in, staff explained where and what time breakfast was served, leading us to assume it was included in our reservation, as is with many European hotels. We realized after two days that it wasn't included and that it was extremely expensive, considering that it was pretty standard fare. Staff should have been clearer on that when we checked in. We ate elsewhere the other days.
Location, location, location, very attentive staff, nice room, and tasty breakfast. Given how good the location is, I was surprised at how good the rate was. I was a bit bummed that the breakfast wasn't included, but you would probably pay as much, if not more, if you went out to get anything on your own.
Kind of a small thing, but I liked having a switch right next to my bed to turn off all the lights at once in the room. Hotels of the world, take note!
