Very quiet!
I thought the staff was professional and kind (and also very quick) and that the hotel was very clean, polished, and quiet - perfect for my stay. I thought the location was a bit frustrating given the proximity to the hustle of Grand Central, but it makes for a pretty convenient subway stop. All-in-all, I would both stay here again and recommend it to friends/colleagues.
Neighbourhood recommendations: Soho/West Village for meandering through boutiques, quick bites, and lovely drinks.
Great
It is great place to stay.
Understated sophistication in mid-town...I will be back
Excellent in all respects. What a difference from you typical NYC 4-Star hotels. I love the Japanese touch of competence and composed sophistication. Plus a great mid-town location. Multiple Thumbs UP! This will be my regular NYC hotel.
Neighbourhood recommendations: Mid Town West - Ethic Foods Central Park - Central Park Soho, China Town, Village - Unlimited Possibilities
