It is worth noting that most accommodations in Japan/Asia and Europe are smaller than North American accommodations. "We stayed at this property during our group OAT tour and then returned after visiting Okayama and Nioshima for two days. The hotel is excellent and the breakfast buffet amazing! Plus, the hotel was very gracious about letting us store some of our luggage during the two days when we were not in Kyoto. "Great welcome at check in. Lovely large, spotless room with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, sofa and desk. Great bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer provided. We used the washers/dryers on floor 2 which worked well. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, all very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful when we were forwarding our luggage to our next hotel. Great location, a short walk from the main rail station. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."
